1What is Cureadosity?

Cureadosity is a picture book subscription box for children aged between 2 and 6. It was founded by Alex & Daphne, a husband and wife team keen to find interesting and representative books for their daughter.

We send you a subscription box with 3 picture books, and you can choose the frequency of which you receive it (monthly, every 2 months, or every quarter).

2What kind of books will be in Cureadosity?

We only include newly released books released a maximum of 3 months prior to the shipping date so the chances of our subscribers already owning the book will be as slim as possible. Occasionally, we are also able to ship the books ahead of the release date. The books included will usually be the UK edition.

3What do I get inside the box?

We offer a carefully curated subscription box where you will receive 3 newly released picture books, hand-picked by the Cureadosity team. Each box will include a mix of hardbacks and paperbacks.

Subscription FAQs

1What subscription options are there?

You can choose from the following plans:

Monthly Subscription: you will receive our box of books monthly and your renewal will be charged on the first day of each month.

Bi-monthly Subscription: you will receive our box of books every 2 months and your renewal will be charged on the first day of every 2nd month.

Quarterly Subscription: you will receive our box of books quarterly (every 3 months) and your renewal will be charged on the first day of every quarter.

2Will the box be tailored to my child?

Boxes are not tailored to individual children; we send the same books to all our customers.

We pick a range of books that we feel will appeal to the age range we are suitable for, and will encourage your little one to read widely!

3Can I cancel my subscription?

We are sorry to see you go! Before you consider cancellation, did you know you can skip a month or change your frequency instead by logging into your account?

If you really have to cancel, you can do so at any time by logging into your account. However, you will still receive any month's box you have paid for prior to your cancellation.

Pricing, Billing & Payment FAQs

1How much does Cureadosity cost?

Our subscription is £20 per box, plus shipping of £2.80.

Please note that all our prices are in Great British Pounds (£ / GBP).

2How can I pay?

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards through the website.

3When is my renewal charged?

Our renewal date is the 1st of the month (so 1 January for the January box) for existing subscribers.

When you first subscribe, you will be charged up front. For example, if you subscribe on 23 January, you are charged on 23 January for the February box. Then your next renewal will depend on the frequency of your subscription :

  • Monthly box: 1 March for the March box
  • Bi-monthly box: 1 April for the April box
  • Quarterly box: 1 May for the May box

Orders after the 8th of the month will start their subscription on the following month. For example, orders on 10 January will be for the February box.

4I need to update my payment method – what do I do?

Log into your account. On the left-hand side is a menu bar, and one of the options is 'payment methods'. Click that, and you will then be able to add and delete payment methods.

If you're changing your payment method for a subscription, you will need to make sure that the correct payment method is saved to the subscription as well. Click 'Subscriptions' on the menu bar, and you will be able to see and update the payment method saved to your subscription(s) there.

5My renewal payment has failed, what can I do?

You can log into your account and make sure your payment information is correct, and our system will try the renewal payment again a number of times over a period of 5 days and will also send you an email to enable you to make a manual payment. If you need further help, please fill in our Customer Support Form.

6Can I purchase without a subscription?

Unfortunately we don't offer one-time purchases, however you can change/skip/cancel your subscription at any time.

Shipping FAQs

1When will my order ship?

We aim to ship start shipping around 15-20th of each month, e.g. 15-20th of January for the January box.

2Do you ship to my country?

At the moment we are only shipping to the UK.

3How much is shipping to my country?

Shipping is £2.80 via Royal Mail within the UK.

4Can I have my box shipped to a P.O. Box?

Yes, Royal Mail are able to deliver to a P.O. Box for you.

5How long will my box take to arrive?

You can expect your box within 2-4 days after shipping.

Customer Support FAQs

1I’ve changed my mind, can I have a refund?

If your subscription has already renewed, then we are not able to refund your current order. However, you can change your frequency, skip or cancel your next box anytime before it renews.

2I want to change my address for future orders – how?

If you are subscribed, you can change your address for future renewals by logging into your account on our website.

However, if your order has already renewed/been paid for, you will need to request an address change by filling in our Customer Support form.

We send an email out to check your address 24 hours before boxes start being packed. Please always check your address in that email and reply to it if the address needs changing.

3I want to change my address for an order I’ve paid for – how?

Please fill out our Customer Support form and we can do that for you! If you change your address in your account, this will not carry over to any orders you have paid for, only future orders.

Before we ship our boxes, we will send you an email confirming your address. If your address is incorrect, reply to that email within 24 hours to have it amended for you. If you change your address in your account at this time, your box will not be sent to the updated address. You need to reply to the email to get the address changed.

Once your box has shipped we cannot change your address and you may be charged additional shipping to have it sent to your correct address.

4My box had a missing book, what do I do?

Sorry about that! Our packing team have quality control measures in place, but they are only human and occasionally an error is made.

If your box has a book missing, please fill out our Customer Support form within 14 days of receipt of the box and we can arrange for that missing item to be sent out to you.

5Can I return my box if I already have the book?

No, unfortunately we are not able to process returns. We will only ship newly released books, occasionally prior to the official release date, so the likelihood is that you will not receive a book you already own.
